Even though bills that would require the labeling of GMO usage in food have been shot down recently, it looks like it will not continue for much longer. Numerous polls, including one inquired by MSNBC, show that the American public want their food labeled in regards to GMOs. Around 90% of voters answered “Yes. It’s an ethical issue — consumers should be informed so they can make a choice.” The people can only be ignored for so long. If the American people continue to voice their opinions, then the system will eventually have to change.
